CML – Cement Mortar Lining

Cement mortar lining acts as a physical and chemical barrier, preventing direct contact between the corrosive elements and the steel surface. The cement mortar lining contains anti-corrosive properties due to the hydration of the cement mortar lining.

Cement Mortar Lining (CML) is a method for applying a mixture of sand, cement and water onto internal pipe surfaces using a centrifugal spinning or pooring method. A characteristic of CML is that blasting the pipe surfaces is not necessarily required prior to the CML application.
